We’re here to support your needs with reliable, top-tier solutions tailored to your specifications.
Quality Assurance ACP’s Responsible Care Quality Assurance is responsible for the Global Quality Management System. This involves managing plant accreditations, certifications, raw material supplier quality, and internal audits of the quality management system.
Consistent Results: The key phrase for QMS is “consistent results.” This is achieved through work instructions designed to eliminate human error as much as possible. The QMS includes a Management System Policy Manual, Operating Procedures, Job Work Instructions, and Records to document that jobs are performed correctly.
ISO/IATF Standards: ACP’s QMS is patterned after the ISO/IATF standards. The policy manual is based on these standards, and procedures break down the major elements of the Quality Manual, defining responsibilities. Work instructions detail how each job is performed, and records provide evidence that the job was performed correctly.
Internal Audits and Compliance: Regular internal audits and compliance checks are essential to maintaining the QMS. This includes planning and implementing education for audit members, conducting internal corporate quality management system audits, and reviewing and upgrading the quality management system based on audit findings.
Customer Satisfaction/ Voice of the Customer: Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing reliable and consistent products that meet their specifications. This involves partnering with customers in all quality events and standardizing quality control systems within the North American manufacturing sites. Reviewing and completing customer questionnaires and surveys.
Continuous Improvement: Implementing the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle in QA systems to determine policy, objectives, and targets, decide on systems or methods for achieving goals, anticipate problems, and take corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
